This guy pasted thousands of blank speech bubbles (like those in comics) stickers on various ads/posters in NYC and then take pictures of what people write on them. It is his way of countering the overrun of ads in public spaces.
Pretty clever, a quick way to get a pulse of a small sample of the populace. I imagine a blank bubble on a poster would easily entice me to try to fill in something funny.
