A conversation at breakfast yesterday morning:
Rex: “Allison, please finish your breakfast!”
Allison: “But I’m full.”
R: “But you eat so little, how will be grow big and strong?”
A: “… Daddy, when I’m 54 I’ll be a giant!”
I busted out laughing. Her choice of number and the similar context reminded me of the Beatles’ song “When I’m Sixty-Four”:
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I’m 64?
